We believe shippers deserve better than the bare minimum, and that you should be entitled to every dollar of your shipment’s value should you experience a loss. Falvey Shippers offers door-to-door coverage for the total value of your package or shipment, providing the supplementary protection you need to guarantee you are covered in the event of damage or loss, no matter when, where or why it occurs — and at some of the lowest rates in the industry.
All claims are handled in-house by Falvey Shippers.
1. First loss reporting limits
Within 90 days of the date of arrival – When damage is noted on the delivery receipt or bill-of-lading (BOL) and signed by the driver.
Within 15 days for Concealed Damage – When there is no immediate visible damage upon delivery therefore not noted on delivery receipt or BOL.
2. Gather supporting documents
We recommend gathering all documents before you start the claim to make the process as efficient as possible. These documents can be uploaded while setting up your claim. They are:
- A copy of the Carrier’s tracking report
- Original bill of lading
- Signed delivery receipt
- A copy of the invoice and/or sales receipt
- Photos of damaged goods and packaging
- An itemized repair estimate if applicable
4. File a claim online with Falvey
File claims electronically at the link found on the front page of your Certificate of Insurance.
Use the Shipment Date and BOL Number found on your Certificate of Insurance from Falvey Shippers as your login credentials. All of our claims are handled in-house by Falvey Shippers Insurance who will respond to you quickly and professionally.
